Hi, my name’s Chloë Cudaback!
I consider my brand and copywriting work to be of “high color” in theory - “to be pink or red in the face, flushed, like how someone looks after being asked if they have a crush - someone with “high color” is showing everyone their emotions on the outside.
In my work, I ask organizations and companies to lean into the feelings that their mission or business evokes and bring them to the surface - whatever emotions are appealing to their audience in order to build a hard-working brand strategy.
This is not something that we are often asked to do - to show emotion and connect with an audience that may be outside of their regular circle. However, to be effective and successful is to grow and to do so companies must break down walls to connect with their supporters and build a community around their business.
My approach has three guiding principles:
Your brand identity is a gift to your customers and supporters - so consider them first!
Your brand identity should be bolstered by completing deep work in setting your organizational values and understanding your unique value proposition
Your brand identity acts as an entity that is more than the sum of its parts - you should be able to identity and evangelize your brand in any room.
So what does a brand strategist help you do?
Identify your audience and understand them like you would a best friend - things like their age, their preferred platforms, and their favorite food. (Trust me, it’s important!)
Facilitate discussion about core values, develop a high-impact business or mission statement, and clarify your company’s vision for the future.
Ensure sustainability and measurability of our project together through developing a key messaging brand platform, brand tone, competitor analysis and positioning, and so much more!
